Beautiful condo - Perfect for a romantic getaway!
What a beautiful and tastefully decorated condo, spacious and overall perfect for either a honeymooning couple (us) or a family vacation.
It had everything we could want. The ground floor location was really nice for our strolls on to the lawn to sit bluff side to catch both sunrises and sunsets and Hideaways Beach below.
It was fun, active, relaxing, and romantic. The condo and location were perfect for us. We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay. Thank you GVR for making sure I had adequate fans for comfort.
Your service was terrific and you followed through on my request.
The unit was comfortable and had a great view. It was perfect for accessing the pool.
The area was great and we plan to return. I will also recommend Puu Poa and your team to our friends.

Paradise Found
Kauai is special place, with unsurpassed beauty everywhere you look.
This home and location is second only to the natural paradise it is located in.
Hideaway Beach, below the cliff feels like your private retreat.
Picture can not do "justice" to the views you get just by stepping outside your door with a cup of coffee in your hand.
The cliffs, sunsets, surfers and the sound of the waves crashing is like heaven on earth.
The kitchen and all amentities were fully stocked (and I am not the easiest girl to please).
Location was perfect, close enough to airport for tours but far enough away to feel nestled in our own private paradise.

Beautiful, Restful and Fantastic
We spent 5 weeks in this condo. It was spacious, a wonderful location, close to everything on the North End.
There was nothing lacking to make our stay any better. Would definitely go back again and would want the same condo.
Just a quick note. Since we had not been on Kauai in 25 years, did not know that at night...it is pure black on the highways.
Take a flashlight to get out of the car and look at the road signs if you don't know where you are going.
We did just happen to have one, so we didn't have a real problem...So, go, and have a wonderful time....

A Whale of a Vacation!
As we approached the end of Ka Haku Rd, somewhat lost on our first day in Princeville, we drove past a small park with an outstanding vista of Bali Hai.
"I wish that was ours," was Becky's comment regarding the condominium ahead of us. We then saw the name of the complex: Pu'u Poa.
Talk about wishes becoming true! The accommodations were, in all sincerity, one of our best memories.
The view of the ocean from the condo, the sound of the surf breaking in the distance, the landscape, and the decor were appreciated each day.
We even saw whales!

Beautiful Location!
Great views! Very Spacious! We would definitely rent this condo again.
Great for families although the beach access at the condo was very steep and treacherous.
We drove a short way to Hanalei Bay and Anini Beach and had a great time with our children.
Princeville was a great location....close to all the action!
The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach (towels, boogie boards, ice chest, etc).
Also, the washer/dryer was a big plus.

Paradise in Paradise
We recently ended our 18 day stay in Kauai with 6 days in Princeville at Pu'u Poa #413 and we definitely "saved the best for last"!
The condo was spectacular! Inside was very roomy, spotless, everything we needed - outside was the most beautiful view ever!
And you could see the Pacific from almost every room. The location was terrific - right next to the St. Regis and also a walk away from the terrific new restaurant, Infigo's.
Hideaways Beach right below the cliffs is beautiful (don't carry much with you down the cliff walk).
This was the perfect ending to our trip to Kauai. Great Vacation Retreats was amazing to work with.
If we travel to Paradise again we will definitely use GVR and be staying at Pu'u Poa.

Amazing condo with beautiful view!
This condo is fully stocked with everything - beach toys, snorkle gear, plush bath & beach towels, nice bed linens, games, books, movies, plenty of fans, washer/dryer, and starter sets for coffee & laundry to help you get by until your first supply run.
Check-in was a breeze. Having high-speed Wifi was so convenient, and the owners even provided an all-in-one printer/fax/copier/scanner. Nice Tv's, DVD players and stereo. All the furniture was good quality and comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen had granite countertops & stainless steel appliances. Updated bathrooms, including a 2-person shower, were luxurious. Entire condo beautifully decorated.
View from the balcony was amazing - not facing Bali Hai, but stunning nonetheless. Location was super. Close enough to walk to Puu Poa Beach next to St. Regis, if climbing down the trail to Pali Ke Kua (Hideaways) Beach is too intimidating. Also just a short drive to Queen's Bath for lava shelf water fun. Many restaurants, shops & a grocery store & gas station two miles away at Princeville. Hanalei just a short five-minute drive.
Can't wait to go back!!

Magical, Romantic Anniversary!
We recently stayed in Pu'u Poa # 413. Amy, the manager was very friendly, professional and helpful.
We spent 6 nights for our 3rd anniversary. The condo was very spacious, luxurious and clean!
We are spoiled now - no hotels ever again! The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked several of our meals in, and utilized the BBQ on the lanai.
The views of the water were so beautiful, with the beach below, as well as the stars at night, that it made it very difficult to come inside!
Thankfully, the ocean can be seen from the inside from almost every room. We walked to the property next door to fully view the sunsets and saw a whale one evening!
We will always cherish the time we had staying in this beautiful home, and plan to return next year!
